"There are 4,508 business places with total 1,666 existing traders in Kramat Jati Central Market. If the market becomes better, cleaner, and more comfortable, of course, we hope customers to feel happy and continue to shop in here. As the results, sales turnover and traders' welfare will also increase," he explained.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission B Member, Adi Kurnia Setiadi wanted this revitalization process not to make traders lose their job.
"I want them to continue selling while Kramat Jati Central Market is being revitalized. I'm sure that with good dialogue, all problems can be resolved. In the near future, I will monitor Kramat Jati Central Market to see the real conditions in the field, as well as to absorb people's aspirations," he said.
